I like the Enterprise theme song
I know the series has been over for a number of years already but I do enjoy watching the reruns on the Scifi Channel. It seems that there has been much debate about the theme song for this Enterprise version of Star Trek. I must admit that at first I wasn't into the whole singing bit. I was one of those that just wanted to hear some background music and the Captain of the ship giving the "where no man has gone before" speech. Now days, I look forward to the theme song. I think it so matches the essence of the Enterprise and...it's kinda catchy. I do know that a lot of people didn't like the whole singing part of the theme song and even the show for that matter. I for one am kinda bummed that the show only lasted for 4 short seasons. I think that it just didn't have enough time to warm up to audiences that were getting off the technology in Voyager and Deep Space 9. So do you Trekkies like the song or am I the only one?

The very first time I heard it, it was a bit jarring because I didn't expect, but it grew on me and became one of my favorite pieces of music from the Star Trek universe outside of the original fanfare and Jerry Goldsmith's ST:TMP score.
Damm, that was a pretty movie even if the plot was a bit not there. :)
