Hawaii's storm & Leeward Drive In
We had to do some field work yesterday and saw this spooky looking cat watching us. Kinda reminded me of that cat from Harry Potter. Mr. Jinx?
Here's a cool shot of the ocean from one of the projects that we had to inspect. Awsome view, so far the weather looked perfect.
How's this pic of Kapolei Golf course. I played here twice and really liked it. This was another project we were checking out. CAn you believe that some people have this view as their back yard? How spoiled. So how's the weather here? *looks to the left*
As you can see it's slowly creeping toward us. Notice the palm trees in the background about to blow off. Sucking the life from this land. *looks more left*
OMG, we have got to go eat lunch before we get nailed. That looks like a category 8 Hawaiian kine rain storm. Where we going eat? I hungy.
Well we ended up driving over to Waipahu where the weather was still looking OK. Leeward Drive In has been in Waipahu for years and is mostly known for their fried noodles. I've never eaten here so I can't wait to dig in.
There's so much selection and I'm soooooo hungry, I have no idea what to eat. Anybody else been here? Hey you at the window, what are you getting?
How's that delectable dish? My trusty side-kick Sam ordered the shoyu chicken plate with fried rice and side mac and noodles. Broke da mout!
Here's my plate. It's called the "box lunch". It holds furikaki rice, portuguese sausage, fried chicken, and teri beef over a bed of fried noodles. If your not in Hawaii right now to try this out....I'm sooooo sorry to show you this. Ono.
